We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Period. We share information only in the following limited and necessary circumstances:

  • Service providers and technology partners: We work with trusted vendors who help us deliver our services — including cloud storage providers, accounting software platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage), scheduling tools, and email platforms. These vendors are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to support our services.
  • Professional advisors: In the normal course of providing accounting services, we may work with CPAs, tax advisors, or legal counsel. Any such sharing is done under strict professional confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and regulatory requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, government authority, or regulatory body — for example, in response to a valid subpoena or audit. We will notify you whenever legally permitted to do so.
  • Business transfers: In the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide advance notice of any such change and your rights at that time.
  • With your explicit consent: For any other sharing not described above, we will always ask for your clear, written consent first.

We never sell your data. A&I Financials has never sold personal information to any third party and has no plans to do so. Your trust is the foundation of our business.

As a professional accounting and bookkeeping firm, we handle highly sensitive financial information on behalf of our clients. We take this responsibility with the utmost seriousness and apply the following protections:

  • Professional confidentiality: All financial data you share with us is treated as strictly confidential — consistent with the professional standards expected of accounting professionals and consistent with Massachusetts professional conduct rules.
  • Access controls: Your financial records are accessible only to the specific team members assigned to your account. We do not allow general staff access to client financial data.
  • Encryption in transit and at rest: All financial documents, reports, and data are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest).
  • Cloud storage security: We use enterprise-grade, SOC 2-compliant cloud platforms for storing client financial data. These platforms include QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other certified accounting software.
  • No use for advertising: Your financial data — including transaction records, income figures, expense details, or tax information — is never used for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose outside your direct service engagement.
  • Non-disclosure: We do not disclose your business financial condition, results, or records to any other client, partner, or third party under any circumstances without your explicit written authorization.

Your financial records belong to you. Upon termination of services or at your request, we will provide you with a complete copy of all your financial records we maintain and will securely delete our copies upon your written instruction, subject to any legally required retention periods.

Our services are designed for and directed at business owners, professionals, and adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions under the CCPA.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale: A&I Financials does not sell personal information. Therefore, there is no opt-out required. We confirm: we do not sell your data.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a lesser quality of service based on your exercise of these rights.
  • Authorized Agent: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require verification of your identity and written authorization from you to the agent.

To submit a California privacy rights request, please email us at contact@anifinancials.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 calendar days as required by CCPA.

Categories of Personal Information Collected (CCPA Disclosure): Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (services requested, transaction history), internet activity (website browsing behavior), and professional information (business type, job title). We do not collect biometric, geolocation, or sensitive personal information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes to this policy, we will:
